About
Growing up on the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia, I developed an appreciation for the ocean by spending time near it. Hearing stories of my ancestors navigating the seas via tall ships, experiencing life in its rawest form, instilled a huge respect for natures power in me from a young age.
I feel grateful to have grown up by the ocean and to have fostered an appreciation for the way it moves, inspires and humbles us.
Moving west in 2014 furthered my appreciation for not only Canadas expansive ecosystems, but also the diverse and dedicated Canadian athletes and entrepreneurs.
Gratitude is at the heart of my work and my life. As a photographer, I am inspired by people and their interactions with the elements, and I strive to highlight these connections in my work.
